Cabinets:
69 Pre Rola Bass cone 100watt straight basketweave. New Marshall 1936 2x12 with 75 watters
New Marshall 1960a and 1960b cabs loaded with 75 watters. 64 Fender bassman 2x12 and 65 Dual Showman 2x15 with JBL D130F's.
Let me tell you what boys, this f****r ROCKS!!! Thru the normal channel every guitar sounded just f***ing huge...pure,loaded with overtones, ballsy, chimey, just killer. Very touch sensitive as well. It was really hard to find a "bad " tone in the amp. The amp is a monster...plenty loud....trust me,this amp has huge balls. NOS tubes in this one...Telefunken and Amperex.
Overall I am very impressed as were my friends. The most repeated phrase was "wow, even that sounds just as good with the same settings" and on and on. It was like the amp said "feed me anything."
Congrats Bob.....you got a winner there!! And no, Im not on his payroll guys

well all I can say is that this is the best amp I have ever heard for ME. Emphasis on ME. It may not be the best for the next guy walking down the street but for my needs and wants it takes them all.
I guess all my guitar playing life I had been trying to get that 'Marshall' sound. From running other amps (Fender, Vox) with a pedal in front for that Marshall'y sound. Now I don't even need pedals. Its amazing. The touch sensitivity is incredible. By varying your pick attack you can go from just strumming, ex. Wish You Were Here chords Pink Floyd, to hard hitting riffs ala, Zep, ZZtop etc.
Its two channels with the normal channel being just volume and tone. It can cover all the lower gain Marshall sounds. Free, AC/DC, ABB, Zep. The second channel is a higher gain. It can cover the more heavier stuff-Guns N Roses, Gov't Mule, Black Crowes, etc.
I am more than pleased with this amp. It just makes me have this huge shit eatin' grin on my face while playing. I can't say enough about Bob or his amps that he builds. Both are incredible.
Thanks again Bob.

I have had my new Reinhardt 18w amp now for almost a week. In this short amount of time, I have already concluded that this is the finest amp that I have ever owned. I would give it the “two snaps and around world” rating. This amp will do everything from light/chime Strat to creamy overdriven Strat to heavily overdriven Paul. I would say that in an overdrive mode that the amp is tonally somewhere between the sound of my old Sunn Model T and my metal panel Marshall.
Another giant plus for me, is that I can actually turn this amp up. Don’t mistunderstand the 18 watts though. It is plenty loud, but compared to the 100w Super Lead, and 150w Model T, it is much easier to get the amp into that sweet power section overdrive than with the bigger heads.

Yeah man... Looks great!.. ( tell the Mrs. thanks! and I can't wait for the cab! )... It's also SUPER lightweight... I fired it up as soon as I got back to the house... There's really no other way to put it except to say that it's just a superior amp.....
It sounds great with ANY guitar I plug into it... You've really created an EQ scheme that's great... Both channels are distinct and yet, both extremely usuable... I also dig jumping the two... Especially on a single coil guitar... You get all that big, pregnant bottom end out of it that way...
The feel switch is just SUCH a great option... (more people should get the net and do that!)... and the half power switch is a nice touch as well... I also feel the need to comment on how transparent the master volume is... Wayyyyy hip...
Bottom line, this is just a great amp... Period...
I knew it was good the first time I played it... but it's really, really a show stopper...
