Ampzilla & Ampzilla 33
The Ampzilla is a higher gain amp, not up to the gain levels of some of the modern high gain amps, but way more aggressive than a superlead type amp, with more response and character also. It is a non master volume type amp, meaning it wont get you oversaturated all preamp gain tones at whisper volumes, it is meant to be opened up. This amp is undergoing a constant R&D program, with the latest design sporting a footswitchable 2 channel setup. The first channel is pretty hot, it originally started out as being inspired by an Express, with the 2nd channel adding in an extra gain stage, which gives the amp a very thick, singing lead tone.. This amp is available with 2 EL34's. The EL34's can be swapped out for 6V6 with just a simple rebias and adjustment of the ohm selector. Biasing is simplified with external pin jacks, and a locking external pot, so the amp never has to come out of its box. Just pull the back panel, insert your voltmeter into the pin jacks, and unlock the brake and turn the knob. Simple enough your wife could do it (although we dont suggest that).
Standard features include:
PEC Mil Spec 2 watt pots. The best in the industry.
Winged C EL34's: JJ ECC803S, TungSol RI 12ax7, or EI 12AX7

AMPZILLA EL34 CLIPS
Clips 1and 2 were done by Pete Thorn, a professional guitar player who has played
with Jewel and many others. He was gracious enough to do a few clips with Ampzilla for me. No pedals, just some verb added during the mixdown.
Clip 3 was done by Steven Linane.killer player with a great feel. It was just him jamming on the prototype EL34 Jester, affectionately known as "Ampzilla".

The Ampzilla will shortly be retired from the lineup as part of an effort to trim up the line, and also to make room for a couple of new amps Im VERY excited about.
